In 2020 all employers with more than 5 employees were required by the state of California to complete Preventing Harassment Training. The California law also requires that the training takes place every two years and within 6 months of being promoted or hired into a supervisory position.
If you have not completed a new training session since 2020, it is time for a refresher…
The good news is that the DFEH now provides harassment training for free. Here is the link. Sexual Harassment Prevention Training | DFEH (ca.gov). Because the DFEH is the government agency that requires the training, you know you will be in compliance. Their system works so that you have to be paying attention through the whole program and if you turn it off in the middle you will have to start it over again. I am recommending this because it is cost effective and gets the job done right.
However, if you would prefer my training, we can schedule a date for $35 per employee, which will include the interactive training via Zoom, as well as a certificate of completion.
If you are interested in scheduling a training session for your entire organization to attend, use this link to schedule your two-hour training session directly on the calendar. This training is for all employees regardless of whether they are supervisors or not. Employees who are not supervisors will be dismissed after the first hour.
$35.00 per employee in attendance will be invoiced after the session is over and the Certificates of Completion will be emailed once the invoice is paid.
